Rock City Eats has learned that Argenta District favorite, Ristorante Capeo, has started construction and will be opening a limited seating pizzeria. The new space will have its own room but will be part of the existing restaurant.
The pizzeria will serve Neapolitan-style pizzas baked in a wood burning oven, along with salads, soups and several pasta dishes.
Also … “We will finally open for lunch as soon as the pizzeria is ready,” says executive chef/co-owner Eric Isaac.
He continues, “The pizzeria itself is small and will only seat 20 or so, but the pizza menu will be offered in the main dining rooms for lunch and dinner. We expect to open sometime in June if everything goes as planned.”
The goal for the new pizzeria is to offer fairly priced, Neapolitan-style pizza served up lightning fast to customers.
