Little Rockers have been excited ever since Dallas based French cafe La Madeleine announced plans to build a Little Rock location in December. The wait is almost over, doors will open on the location at 12210 W. Markham on April 21st at 6:30am.
La Madeleine operates as a small chain, with limited franchising options. Thanks to a strong relationship with the owners by the Chi family, they were able to bring the famed fast casual eatery to Little Rock.
“It’s clear that la Madeleine has cultivated a tremendous loyalty with its guests,” said Jacob Chi. “We have been following the brand for some time and have been extremely impressed with its country French cuisine, charm and ambiance. No other bakery café comes close to offering the same experience in Little Rock.”
La Madeleine is known for their French cuisine handcrafted daily with fresh, seasonally inspired ingredients and comfortable. If you have never tried it their breakfast, pastries, and house made bread make loyal customers.
Signature menu items include Tomato Basil Soup and Chicken Caesar Salade, la Madeleine serves freshly prepared, handcrafted menu items such as omelettes and quiche for breakfast, homemade soups, salads and sandwiches for lunch, and dinner entrées, savory crêpes and pastas, as well as authentic French patisseries and viennoiserie.
The café in Little Rock is the first of five locations to open in Arkansas over the next few years as part of a franchise agreement with LM Ark Holdings, an established multi-unit, multi-brand franchise development group based in Little Rock. The Chi Family, a group of seasoned restaurateurs, is the driving force bringing la Madeleine to Little Rock.
In celebration of its grand opening on April 21, the first 50 guests in line at 6:30 a.m. will win a weekly supply of the brand’s fresh handmade breads for a year. The café will present the first 50 guests with certificates to redeem their delicious rewards each week during a 12-month period.
The 5,500-square-foot café features rustic country French décor and a large covered patio that can be used year-round. The brand’s signature country French charm is showcased with wood floors, rustic stone and tile, beamed ceilings and a double-sided fireplace. Guests can also take a peek into the bakery where pastries and bread is freshly baked and handcrafted daily.
Little Rock’s la Madeleine is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
