Igibon Japanese Restaurant Closing Down, Last Day is December 24th

Igibon Japanese restaurant began telling customers today that the restaurant is closing down, the last day will be December 24th.
Igibon is located off Rodney Parham in the Valley Village Shopping Center. The Valley Village and The Market Place shopping centers are undergoing extensive construction, which is impacting several of the shops and restaurants located in the area.
We spoke with the Igibon this afternoon and confirmed that the impact of the construction on business combined with increases to the leasing cost are forcing the restaurant to not renew their lease which is up at the end of the year. Igibon said they have no plans at this time to reopen in another location.
