First Look: Kent Walker Artisan Cheese – Opening Tomorrow

Over the past couple of years Little Rock foodies have been enjoying quality local cheese from Kent Walker Artisan Cheese. The local farmer’s market regular has grown to have offerings in many restaurants around town as well as select retail spots.
Earlier this year Walker announced a move to the former Diamond Bear location at 323 S. Cross in downtown Little Rock that would include a tasting room along with beer and wine pairings. After a successful Kickstarter campaign and a couple of months of construction the tasting room is finally ready to open doors tomorrow, Saturday April 18th, to the public.
The tasting room will feature a small, but frequently rotating, selection of local beers on tap. A rotation that will feature Stone’s Throw, Ozark Beer, and Diamond Bear in a nod to the previous occupant of the space along with select bottles of will also be available for pairings. Charcuterie boards featuring cuts from Hillcrest Artisan Meats and a number of local meat producers will be on hand to complement the cheese.
Visitors can also tour the cheese production area on Saturdays and Sundays at 3 p.m.. The Tasting room is open four days a week

  • Thursday: 1pm – 8pm
  • Friday: 1pm – 9pm
  • Saturday: 11am – 9pm
  • Sunday: 11am – 6pm
