In around two weeks, District Fare will be open for business in Hillcrest. Owner Tomas Bohm (The Pantry, The Pantry Crest) says his first opening will be an open house on Thursday, April 6, for Hillcrest’s traditional First Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. If all goes well, District Fare will be open for business the week of April 10. District Fare is opening in the space that once belonged to neighborhood favorite Hillcrest Artisan Meats, which closed in December. District Fare will offer sandwiches, salads and take-home dinner options, in addition to some groceries and provisions. Bohm has also greatly expanded seating in the restaurant and plans on being open seven days a week.

The only way to guarantee your table is by calling South on Main at 501-244-9600 and making a reservation ASAP.
After months of delays from their insurance companies and the city, Midtown Billiards is finally full swing in the rebuilding phase. Metro Disaster Specialists has installed new wiring and plumbing, but there is still plenty of work to be done. The fire marshal determined the cause of the fire was an electrical short. Midtown Billiards is one of the few bars in Little Rock that hold a class B license, allowing them to stay open until 5 a.m.
