Business Development

At Rock City, we are not your typical publication. We believe in offering high-value services and strong influence to help small businesses grow rather than traditional display advertising. There are a lot of opportunities and planned growth in our future, and we need someone who understands creative, out of the box business solutions to get us to the next level.

We need a specific Business Development person who can build strategic-long term partnerships with businesses and organizations. Our offerings are wide covering everything from culinary tourism promotion, marketing services, web development, and individual restaurant promotion through our core websites. We need someone who can walk into a business, discover their needs and build a plan to maximize ROI to the business, even sometimes coming up with brand new solutions for their needs.

This is a unique sales driven position because of it we pay higher than average commission rates. You have the backing of a strong brand reputation and a great market position. Additionally, there is an unlimited growth opportunity. You will be the business development position and can grow within Little Rock, around the state, and potentially within the surrounding region.

This requires someone self-motivated. We work on a commission basis so you have the flexibility to work when you want and how you want. There are no office hours, no mandatory meetings, and no micromanagement.

What we are looking for: 

Sales Experience – No minimum amount, but a demonstrated ability to manage sales is a must.
Self Motivated – You manage your time and workload.
Strong Business Relationships – Help us grow and reach people beyond our existing connections.
Creativity – Discover opportunities and come up with out of the box solutions.
