Rumbles: Grand Opening for Pinnacle Valley Restaurant, kBird Takes Two-Week Hiatus

Pinnacle Valley Restaurant located in the heart of Two Rivers and Maumelle Park at 8501 Pinnacle Valley Rd will be having its grand opening this Thursday, March 19 with a ribbon cutting ceremony taking place at 11 a.m. Menu options includes hamburgers, catfish, steak, chicken, pasta, and more! Hours of operation are Tuesday-Sunday 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Breakfast is served all day and deck service is also available. Your favorite Thai restaurant in Little Rock, kBird, will be closed for two weeks (March 25-April 6). “I will be going to Thailand to eat, talk, and learn … and return with new things for you to eat,” says owner Richard Glasgow.

The inaugural Mac ’N’ Cheez Festival is on Saturday, April 11 at War Memorial AT&T Stadium. From the coordinators: “Mac ’N’ Cheez Mania, Little Rock’s inaugural mac and cheese festival, is a fundraiser benefiting missions that serve children, hunger, health and education. This family friendly offers play space and booths for kids (of course all kids love mac and cheese!), yummy tasting, a mascot, t-shirts and some good music at an historic venue that’s covered for all weather and accessibility. Professional teams can register for $40, home cooks can register to participate for $20 and kid cooks 18 and under can participate in the Mac N Cheez cook off for free. Admission is $10 for adults and free for kids 12 and younger.”

St. Margaret’s Monday Food Truck Meet-Up will take place on Monday, March 30 from 5-8 p.m. at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church (20900 Chenal Parkway).
