We love local sports almost as much as local food, so we decided to find a way to blend them together. On March 15th as the Little Rock Trojans take on UCA in baseball we will host our first of hopefully many Rock City Tailgates.
This is not any tailgate, we are bringing some of our favorite food trucks together to hang out at Gary Hogan Field before, and during the game. Joining us for the inaugural tailgate is Beast, Waffle Wagon, Hot Rod Wieners, Kincaid’s Coffee, Loblolly, and New Cheesecake Company.
Food is only half the story. The Trojan baseball team is off to a hot 2-1 start with wins over Kansas and Indiana State. It looks to be a potential turnaround season for the Trojans as they enter their second season under Coach Chris Curry.
The game starts at 6:00, tickets for the game are not required to enjoy the tailgate, but we hope you will consider cheering on Little Rock’s team. Tickets are only $6 for general admission and $3 for kids. Let us know if you are coming on the Facebook event page and we will have a few special updates along the way.
The Trojans are also providing meals for the first 100 students to show up to the tailgate.
