Growler University, Course 102 – Where to Fill Your Growlers

A couple of weeks ago we threw out some growler FAQs for beer lovers. Today, we follow up with a list of places where you can get your growler filled. Check it out, and get ready to drink beer. Also, let us know if we left your favorite fill station off, so we can add it to our list.

Vinos – Located on 923 W 7th Street, Vino’s offers growler refills every day of the week, including Sundays. They have their own beers on tap, including such stalwart creations as the Firehouse Pale Ale, 6 Bridges Cream Ale, and the Lazyboy Stout, among others. Vinos has a growler take-back program, so be sure to bring in their logoed glass, or buy one there when you are craving a Vinos beer.

Blue Canoe Brewing Co. – One of Little Rock’s newest nanobreweries offers growler fills on Thursdays from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 10 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 8 p.m. Bring home specialties including the Whittler, their milk stout, or their Razorback Rye IPA.

107 Liquor in Sherwood at Hwy 107 & Kiehl Ave. has a growler station with six flavors available, and Springhill Liquor at Springhill Rd. & McCain Blvd. in North Little Rock also fills growlers and has five or six flavors at any time. Mapco at Kiehl and Brockington in Sherwood also sells and fills growlers, but the one time I checked they only had major brands on tap (Sam Adams, Dos Equis, etc.).
