The Goonies – Movies in the Parking Lot

Sunday, October 15, Downtown Little Rock Partnership and Arkansas Cinema Society will host “Movies in the Parking Lot”. The 1980s adventure classic The Goonies will be shown in the parking lot of The Root Cafe at 15th & Main downtown Little Rock. Screening is FREE & open to the public.
The event opens at 6pm andmovie will begin after sundown. BYO SEATS – blankets, lawn chairs, inner tubes, pirate rafts – your choice to claim your spot! Food will be available from participating food trucks. Lost Forty Brewing will be selling #lost40beer and Loblolly Creamery will be selling sweet treats.

[Street] Lights, [Traffic] Camera, [Downtown] Action! Downtown Little Rock Partnership (DLRP) is teaming-up with Arkansas Cinema Society (ACS) for a unique movie-going experience.
“’Goonies never say die,’” quoted Gabe Holmstrom, DLRP Executive Director. “We are excited to partner with the Arkansas Cinema Society to help bring this great movie to a unique place where everyone – individuals and families alike – can rediscover its magic.”
