Fingers crossed that today marks the day that we’ll actually get a touch of crisp air so we can finally enjoy some serious fall weather. It’s about that time to examine some of Rock City’s best fall hangouts. We’ve written about the best patios before, but this time around we’re focused on the best place to sip the best fall drink or best autumn views. The Fold: Botanas & Bar –3501 Old Cantrell Road – A nice step away from Cantrell’s activity, the Fold is an oasis in the Riverdale neighborhood. Funky, eclectic tables and chairs provide a hip aesthetic, but be warned – this smallish space fills up quickly on a nice day. Raduno Brick Oven & Barroom – 1318 W Main St – A small yet stylish patio now adorns the front entryway to the SOMA staple. It’s a great place to watch the hustle and bustle of Main Street, especially alongside their killer new fall drink menu. Rebel Kettle Brewing Co – 822 E. 6th st. – This is the patio for everyone – as the huge area offers plenty of seating and views of the Clinton Library and Heifer international. Plus, if you haven’t been lately, you’ll want to check out their revamped food menu. Trio’s Restaurant – 8201 Cantrell Road – The covered patio is breezy and covered with plants that the owner tends to herself. Bar wizard Merrick Fagan has also recently released a new line of fall cocktails guaranteed to be a treat. The Pantry Crest – 722 N Palm St – In the heart of Hillcrest, the Czech eatery has a dreamy side patio. It’s usually brimming with people, especially during nice weather but it makes the perfect spot to enjoy dinner and a drink or two. Dugan’s Pub – 401 East Third Street – When thinking of the River Market, make Dugan’s one of your stops. A covered, cozy patio, the space is perfect for sipping Hot Toddy’s. Faded Rose – 1619 Rebsamen Park Rd – One of Little Rock’s oldest restaurants is also one of the best spots to sip a beer while enjoying good food. It is always buzzing in the late afternoon with people hanging out and have great conversations. Cache – 425 President Clinton Avenue – This downtown spot isn’t necessarily large, but it’s an elegant place to lounge while grabbing a drink. Plus, the upstairs balcony patio offers pretty views of the every-busy River Market. Red Door and Loca Luna – 3701 Cantrell Rd – These neighboring sister restaurants have some of the best patios in town. Both are carefully designed to enjoy the best of outdoor dining, perfect for a casual brunch on a cool day.

Table 28 – 1501 Merrill Dr – Little Rock’s newest patio spot is an excellent addition to Table 28’s recently updated dining room. The patio quickly makes you forget you are in the middle of WLR strip malls thanks to a thoughtful design. The Root Café –1500 South Main Street – Park it at the Root on the wrap around porch, or in the garden. The farm-to-table vibe will have you feeling as if you’re a part of the harvest. Ciao Baci – 605 Beechwood Street – This Hillcrest staple is dreamy with fairy lights, making it the perfect romantic space to sip a drink on a nice day. Bonus – barman Neil Pedrick has a pumpkin spice cocktail out right now along with a killer seasonal sangria. It’s a win-win situation. Maddie’s Place – 1615 Rebsamen Park Rd – As if Riverdale did not have enough great restaurant patios, Maddie’s features one of the oldest and best in the rock. The original Faded Rose location’s small patio has been a Little Rock staple for outdoor sipping for over 30 years. La Terraza Rum & Lounge – 300 Kavanaugh Blvd – Catch some of the prettiest views in Hillcrest from the tiered patio while enjoying their new seasonal menu. Don’t fret if it starts to get too chilly – the restaurant provides cozy blankets for you to wrap up in while hanging in their tiered, comfortable outdoor space. Forty Two – 1200 President Clinton Avenue – For views of the Arkansas River amongst a modern vibe, head here. Cheers in the Heights – 2010 North Van Buren Street – Small, but covered and ready for any crazy Arkansas weather, this patio is quaint, cozy, and a great place to enjoy food and drink. Dizzy’s Gypsy Bistro – 200 River Market Ave – Want an elevated view of downtown’s street cars? Dizzy’s patio is a nice separate distance from the street, cozy, and equipped with heaters for chilly weather. Baja Grill – 5923 Kavanaugh Boulevard – Small, but covered and dotted in foliage, this space offers a wonderful oasis in the Heights neighborhood. U.S. Pizza Co. Hillcrest – 2710 Kavanaugh – Good in any weather, the Hillcrest patio is a place for friends, drinks, pizza, and even your furry dog friend.
