The folks over at Eggshells Kitchen Co. were getting into the holiday spirit this afternoon with their NOG OFF competition. I was able to swing by and sample the entries—all were great and some even dazzled with their strong alcohol content (no complaints).
In the end, Barbara Miles took home the championship, bragging rights and a $50 gift certificate.
South on Main’s bartender David Burnette was also on hand, bringing with him some of his own award-winning egg nog. And the good news?
“We’ll have about 125 quarts available for pre-order and to be picked up at South on Main on December 23rd,” says Burnette.
As someone who has partaken in my fair share of David’s egg nog, I can tell you without a shred of doubt that you will be satisfied with your purchase.
